Terms of Service

1. Pre-Order Service

Empanadas La Linda offers a pre-order service for handmade Argentine empanadas available for pickup at select Bay Area farmers markets. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Order Cutoffs

Orders must be placed by 11:59 PM the night before your chosen market date. Late orders cannot be accommodated as empanadas are made fresh to order.

3. Pickup

Empanadas must be picked up at the selected farmers market on the specified market day. Bring your order confirmation and order code. Unclaimed orders cannot be refunded after the market closes.

4. Food Safety

Our empanadas are prepared in a licensed commercial kitchen. They are delivered frozen and should be stored frozen upon pickup. Cook thoroughly before consuming. We are not liable for issues arising from improper storage or handling after pickup.

5. Market Cancellations

In the rare event a farmers market is cancelled (e.g., due to weather), we will contact you by email and issue a full refund or offer credit toward a future order.

6. Payments

Payment is processed securely via Stripe at the time of ordering. We accept all major credit and debit cards. Prices are listed in USD and include all applicable fees.

Refund Policy

Full Refunds

You are eligible for a full refund if:

  • You cancel your order before the cutoff time (11:59 PM the night before)
  • The farmers market is cancelled
  • Your order was not fulfilled due to our error

No Refunds

We cannot issue refunds for:

  • Orders cancelled after the cutoff time
  • Unclaimed orders (no-shows at the market)
  • Change of mind after the cutoff

How to Request a Refund

To cancel an order before the cutoff or request a refund for an eligible reason, email orders@empanadaslalinda.com with your order confirmation number. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days back to your original payment method.
